    North Bay Hydro’s Regulatory Scorecard

The Ontario Energy Board (OEB) has developed a scorecard for all local distribution companies across the Province as a tool to allow customers to gain a better sense of how well their utility is performing over a 5 year period. Utility scorecards track and show comprehensive performance information for each electricity utility in Ontario, over a range of time and for a specific year.

Ultra-low-Overnight (ULO)

Posted on

As of November 1, 2023 – NBHDL customers can now choose from three different pricing options. Ultra-Low Overnight (ULO) has been added to the Time-of-Use (TOU) and Tiered plans. The newly created ULO price plan will benefit those who use more electricity overnight, such as those who charge electric vehicles at home while sleeping or those on shift work.

With TOU and ULO, the price you pay depends on when you use electricity. With Tiered prices, you can use a certain amount of electricity each month at a lower price. Once that limit is exceeded, a higher price applies.

The addition of ULO provides customers with added flexibility in making their price plan work with their lifestyle. Use the online calculator at www.oeb.ca to help you make an educated decision on what plan is best suited to you. If you believe ULO is the right choice for you, call our customer service team at 705-474-8100 today!
